spectator/ Salsa Congress
attendee. To give you either him or her a chance
to solve their curious thoughts of would they
be
strong willed
enough and/or have what it takes to
survive on
stage. Lastly it gives you either him
or her that
once in a lifetime experience
of being taught a choreography by one of
the best in the business and then showing
everyone what they have learned on stage.
Upon
arrival, you will meet your instructor, Ismael "Million
Moves Man" Otero and other team
members in the Americas Hall section of the
Hilton on the 3rd FL. Thursday at 5:00 PM, August
30, or Friday at 5:00 PM August 31, 2007
and be taught a choreography within
4-5 days in the American Hall section between
the hours of 5:00PM - 7:00PM each day and
have a chance to perform it live on stage
on Sunday of the 7th Annual New York Salsa
Congress. At first
your group will perform for the Sunday
afternoon show, just to break the ice
and in preparation for your grand finale in
the Sunday evening professional showcase.
Only the strong survives in New York.
If the streets don’t get
you, then the
SALSA will.
Requirements for
participation is the person must at least know their timing and master the basic
step. He or she must never have danced on a semi pro or pro team before. The
maximum number of people per group/s will be determined upon of agreement between
us. In return each participant will receive a personalized certificate of achievement,
and a 4 Day Concert Series Package which includes an entry to see all the dance
showcases, live concert series, and social dancing. including a Spectator Pass
to see the 1st Annual New York Salsa Championship on Sunday.
